The 30! As mentioned in one of my previous blog posts, I have come up with a list of 30 things I am going to attempt in my 30th year, some of them are quirky but then so am I! I have till the 26th of September to master all or as many of them as possible.
This is a personal journey so whilst some of these may seem odd to you they make perfect sense to me.
1. No drinking for 30 days.
2. Watch 30 min less TV every day and read instead.
3. Try and post 30 blog entires/posts a month.
4. Do not complain about anything for 30 days.
5. Do not swear or curse for 30 days.
6. Complete three final chapters of my book with complete character synopsis and send this to various publishing houses (open up my options).
7. Gym for 30 days straight.
8. After the above point, gym twice a day for 30 days straight.
9. Juice for 30 days.
10. For 30 days follow the YES principle.
11. Drop 10kgs in 8 weeks.
12. From April put away R1000 a month.
13. From March get involved in a "Giving Back" initiative.
14. Don't fib or over-exaggerate about anything for 30 days.
15. Compliment 3 people everyday for the year.
16. Name 3 things everyday that I am grateful for for the year.
17. Make an effort to touch base with my friends every week.
18. Stay focused at work & apply myself 100% every day.
19. Try do something new or different at least every week.
20. Make an effort with my appearance and attitude every day.
21. Actively listen and care this year; learn to be more present.
22. For 3 months put away R500 and spoil a friend.
23. Always look for the positive in every situation this year.
24. Smile at strangers.
25. Be confident.
26. Grow, grow up and own it.
27. Be less afraid.
28. Build others up.
29. Work towards what I want.
30. Keep all the promises that I make this year!
