Ever seen those insanely happy people on a Monday morning and wondered how the hell they get it right???
I think I found their secret which is based on a few well practised principles and here they are:
1. BE GRATEFUL
Everyday you wake up say ‘thank you’ for just the fact that you are alive.
Say out loud 3 things you are grateful for and stop focusing on what you don’t have.
2. Set goals for the day
You are what you eat as well as what you think- your thoughts manifest throughout the day so in a way your thoughts are spells of magic re-working the world around you.
If you think happy thoughts you are in turn happy, if you sulk your day pretty much sucks ass and so on.
So tomorrow before you get out of bed say out loud what you plan to do that day- what you plan to accomplish.
3. Breath in and out 5 times
Breathing techniques are incredibly powerful and duh this is what keeps us alive!
Breathing in and out deeply and slowly will release tension and stress helping you start your day off fresh and renewed.
4. SMILE
This one os easy- there is this weird science to the fact that even if you are miserable or angry if you force yourself to sit and smile- the chemical reaction in your brain will change and result in you feeling instantly happier – SO SMILE
5. Forget yesterday
Regret is a STUPID emotion and it does not do anyone any good! So forgive the woes of yesterday and LET IT GO (humming frozen as I type this)
