Friday is here and it is a beautiful day in the Mother City so I thought I would kick off Friday with some fun things to do this weekend if you are in Cape Town.
A few rad options there if I do say so myself!
I think I make swing past the Prawn Festival or try out some Popera and end of the weekend at the RVCA Surf competition- see you cats there!
- Get entranced at the Progressive Trance Party at Café Mambo- 14 hours of unz unz music to feed your trancey souls
- Go Bos at the Castle of Good Hope- Dutch multi-instrumentalist Stef Bos will be jamming it at the Castle on Sunday afternoon.
- Go and be shellfish at the Prawn Festival at Kenilworth Racecourse- a great foodie love affair with DJ’s and live bands to boot.
- A Healthy option at the Health Convention at the CTICC- (currently underway) you can go and hear from the experts on how best to live a healthy life as they way in on diets and all things health wise.
- Surfs up dudes as the RVCA Rolling Retro Surfing Competition at Landudno Beach- so hit the beach at 10am if you want some sun and sand or get your ass there early to register & enter.
- Anyone up for POPera? Check out the Afro Popera Festival at The Artscape Theatre this weekend- what happens when you add african flavour to opera… Afropera- something homegrown!
