Ever wondered how someone can change in a month?
How a friend does a 360 after meeting an odd guy or girl?
I think I may have found a creepy ass answer- BRAINWASHING!
Technique 1: Repetition
If a message is repeated enough times, others will begin to accept it. The stats are even more alarming; if a person repeats the same opinion three times there is a 90% chance that they will convert the thinking of at least 3 people around them.
Technique 2: Imitation
By imitating someone you can bring them over to your way of thinking; all you need to do is repeat the last few words they say in a conversation.
The power of mimicry is based on a basic animal behaviour- if someone is similar to you, you will naturally accept them.
Technique 3: Resisting Temptation: Say ‘Don’t’ instead of ‘Cant’
You want to control someone in your life- simple- instead of telling them what they can’t do just tell them what they don’t do… weird I know but the word don’t implies that there is a desire on their part to not want to see a specific person, take part in a specific act and so on.
There are a thousands of reasons and techniques like this, which is pretty alarming.
Makes you wonder the next time someone persuades you to change your point of view- did they make a solid case or did they just brainwash your thought away????
