So I thought I would cover some of the trendiest joints in town and let you decide where your next meal will be….
The Grand
This beached warehouse has the best view in town. Where else can you sit in the sand and overlook the ocean will tip top cruise boats pass you by as you sit and sip your favourite cocktail with a backdrop of Indian rugs, chandeliers and romanticism that only the Mother City has to offer.
Café Caprice
An oldie but a GOODIE is the one and only Café Caprice. If you are one of the city's slickest then get your best outfit on and order your favourite cocktail and get yourself seen!
This is where anyone who is anyone is at! The classy career driven, local celebs and shmodels galore! But this joint doesn’t just offer the best location is town but some cool tunes to help the medicine go down.
Asoka
Chic-chic-chic…Ever seen a tree as the main feature of a bar/restaurant? Look no further… this in trend venue offers tapas to die for and drinks to match all under the branches of a mystical olive tree.
The Waiting Room
This is a two- hitter. Downstairs you can enjoy the tastes of town at the Royale Eatery and still head upstairs to a remote bar with seventies inspired rooms with a balcony that offers the sights of the city- at night this is a view not to be missed.
Tjing Tjing Rooftop Bar
Age has become a thing of beauty in this 181 year old home which has been lovingly restored into a restaurant and slightly pretentious roof top bar. The Japanese- style décor sets the scene for a night of red hot tapas and vino!
Next week if I remember I will cover a few more of my favourite hot spots…
Hope to see you out and about
