I just read the funniest thing...about as funny as the TV series Two Broke Girls.
People are really upset at the various 'crude' jokes/slams on different groups, races etc. that are a popular point of humour in the TV show.
Satire has always been a popular form of wit and a powerful way to take a jab at race, religion, politics, gender issues- well let’s face it the options are endless.
If we cannot laugh at the issues that openly exist in our world then we need to look at ourselves- no point in taking life so seriously- you are not getting out of it alive!
I myself could be the character Max- I openly say what I think about people and will gladly repeat what I say to anyone- my motto: If you say it, own it!
One of the creators of the show, Michael Patrick King has called the show’ in-your-face-girls’ which is right on the money. Max says what everyone is thinking.
Freedom of speech is supposed to be FREEDOM to say exactly what you want and think.
So suck it haters- if you don’t like it- don’t listen or in this case- don’t watch the show!
